To save lives and improve patient outcome, by promoting and helping deliver clinical excellence to critically ill or injured patients in the pre hospital environment.
UK HEMS aims to:
• Promote best practice in pre-hospital clinical governance
• Disseminate best practice and encourage research
• Engage with industry to evaluate and develop equipment for pre-hospital care
• Encourage mutually support amongst air ambulance organisations
• Actively encourage other organisations to share the model of care
• Provide a single voice for the member organisations
