A Common Dataset
This is a minimum dataset that will be kept by all member organisations to allow collaborative research.
As each member organisation works in different environments, they may wish to have additional fields in their own database.
• Patient sex and age
• Patient past medical history
• Patient ASA grade (as a measure of severity)
• Patient ISS (if available)
• Dispatch reason - crew request, primary call out, only crew available etc
• Date and time of Incident
• Location of incident - rural vs urban, home vs outside
• Type of incident - medical, surgical, RTC, sports, work etc
• Description of Incident
• Patient Vital Signs on arrival - P, BP, Sats, AVPU / GCS, Pain score (out of 10)
• Patient ABCs on arrival
• Injuries noted / diagnosis made
• Treatment at scene
• Drugs used
• Equipment used
• Worse patient vital signs (as above)
• Mode of Transport used for patient
• Reason for triaging to hospital used
• Patient vial signs on handover at hospital
• Any cardiac arrest
• Any Serious Adverse Incidents
