UK HEMS is a charitable collaboration of UK helicopter air ambulance services whose aspiration is to :
• Promote consistent clinical care delivered by the air ambulance community.
• Promote clinical excellence provided by helicopter medical teams
• Support and inform helicopter air ambulance clinicians throughout the UK.
• Promote the role of helicopter air ambulances in the health care economy
• Foster a helicopter air ambulance industry identity.
• Ensure clinical posts in air ambulance are recognised training opportunites in both medical and paramedical postgraduate training
